Snow shoe hiking

This tour leads from Compaccio/Compatsch to Hotel Panorama and then to Laurinhütte Alpine hut and Denti di Terrarossa/Rosszähne. Traverse the Tschapit meadows until you reach Punta d'Oro/Goldknopf, the highest point of Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm. From there you have superb views of the Dolomites. The tour lasts approx. 4.5 hours.

Suitable snow shoe hiking equipment is required, such as protective clothing, waterproof shoes, avalanche transceivers etc. - available for hire at local the sports shops.

Winter hiking

Winter hiking

The Bullaccia/Pfulatsch round tour: this relaxing tour lasts approx. 3 hours and takes you from Compaccio/Compatsch to the Arnika Alpine hut. Follow the signs to the hut and enjoy a dreamlike hiking trail. The hut is situated at approx. half the length of the trail. The Bullaccia/Puflatsch plateau offers wonderful views of the Val Gardena/Grödnertal and the towns of Siusi/Seis and Castelrotto/Kastelruth as well as of the Odle/Geisler mountains, Mt. Sassolungo/Langkofel, Mt. Sassopiatto/Plattkofel and the whole Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm.
